It was that time of year again, and Melbourne’s biggest fashion event was ON – L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 18-24 March. I got my fashion fix with my cousin, Kai at Runway 5. Aussie designers featured include: Alice McCall, Ksubi, Tigerlily, Life with Bird, YB J’aime by Yeojin Bae, Ginger & Smart, and Michael Lo Sordo. There was also a LMFF Powder room where fashionistas could get their nails “did” of lips painted. I went in and gave that bold, classic, red lip a go and to my pleasure it was a real hit! Everyone gets a goodie bag of freebies when you walk out and my bag had an eye shadow pot, nail polish, hair spray and some sachets of hair product. Best of all, I got to scout out all the amazing outfits worn by the fashion bloggers spotted around LMFF’s runway. I took a few sneaky snaps below for you all! I think the key idea this season is a “pop” of colour. Don’t you agree???
Oh, by the way, I bumped into one of my favourite actors from Suburgatory, Rex Lee (you might recognise him from Entourage), after the runway. JJ and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Suburgatory, and he is just fabulous. So nice, and even offered to take another photo with me if the one I took with my phone wasn’t good. Love him!
