Heart of the City – New Office Space!

I’ve experienced some exciting things in the last 12 months, but the biggest and best change has been moving work spaces into the “Heart of the City” in Melbourne! Now I have a great desk space co-sharing an office inside the Nicholas Building in the city. The Nicholas Building is a grand Chicago-style building that is known to be THE SPACE for all of Melbourne’s creative types – designers, photographers, media people, public relations, writers, jewellery makers, crafty DIY-ers, you name it! Many of them co-share an office room/space like I now do. I was fortunate to find an office with huge windows with lots of natural light (we never use the lights!). The balcony is by far the highlight of the workspace because you can see all the way down Swanston Street (Melbourne’s mains street) as well as Federation Square, the War Memorial and the beautiful St Paul’s Cathedral. I couldn’t get any more central than I am now. That and the people I share the workspace with are absolutely LOVELY! I now look forward to work days of friendly conversations, interesting walks through arcades as well as exploring bustling alleyways of cafes during my breaks. Have a look see at my new office space and let me know your thoughts 🙂

  2. What a marvelous space to work in. I love the balcony; it can be so refreshing to step outside for a moment when you need to clear your head. What is the creature on the balcony? A plaster goanna? Does he keep birds away? This office seems to have it all…. and a tram stop, too!
