There’s a bit of social media buzz around Zooey Deschanel’s missing bangs today. She showed up at the Met Gala in New York and was almost unrecognisable without her signature bangs! As you can see here, there’s been a bit of a kaffuffle among Zooey’s fan-base who has come to associate her do with the quirky persona that made her everybody’s favourite indie-girl next door. Now that I’m growing my bangs out, I wonder if I’ve committed such a faux pa. If you ask me I think she’s still gorgeous, although I won’t lie that it is a bit disconcerting to look at her knowing who she is. Who IS that girl???
